To dance is to make love to the universe.

The Sufis of Egypt have developed a combination of movements
with breath, chanting and music, called ‘zikr’.
Such practices facilitate the ability to go within, where dance flows through us naturally, from Source, leading us
to ever heightening states of ecstasy.

Tara Sufiana holds two degrees from Sonoma State University.
Since then, she has lived for five years among the Sufis in Egypt, where she sang, danced and channeled healing, while learning their
spiritual practices.

Articles Tara has written about her experiences wi th the Sufis in Egypt
have been published in leading magazines in several countries.
Her long-awaited book,
“THE SWORD AND THE ROSE, A Swiss-American Dervish in Egypt”,
is now available in bookstores and on the web, such as amazon.com.
